BLACK SESAME SEEDS PASTE

Ingredients:

60g black sesame seeds

60g rice

Rock sugar to taste

2 cups water

Preparation:

1.Wash rice and then  soak in some water for 1 hour.  Drain after 1 hour

2.Wash black sesame seeds,drain the water and put in a clean towel and wring.  Then stir fry on low heat.

3.Put rice,black sesame seed and 2 cups of water in a grinder to grind the mixture.

4.Then put the mixture in a pan, add rock sugar and bring to boil.  You have to stir continously to prevent sticking.

The mixture is ready when it becomes thick

 

 

 

 

BLACK SESAME SEED WITH CHINESE YAM

Ingredients:

25g Chinese Yam

15g Black sesame seed

Rock Sugar to taste

Preparation:

Wash Chinese Yam and set aside.

Wash Black Sesame seeds, and strain.  Then stir fry in a pan

Grind chinese yam and black sesame seeds to powder. 

Bring about 500-800ml water to boil, then add chinese yam and black sesame seed powder, rock sugar to taste, stirring continuously until it becomes a thick paste

If you also prepare this paste without rock sugar and then when cooked, you can add some honey when ready to serve
